Shibori most of you have most likely never heard of this well let me tell you....

Some History shibori is ancient (aka really old) Japanese technique using indigo dye. It was popular during the Edo period (1615 - 1868). The Edo period was when Japan completely isolated itself from other counties and sometimes traded with chinse and Dutch traders. Shibori (sometimes famous) artist This is what I found there is a lot of people who sell their shibori online(especially clothes) including many popular retailers for wall decoration but none in art museums. Techniques there are many techniques some are -Arashi -Kumo -Kanoko - Miura -Nui -Arashi -Itajime Things you will need(materials) shibori is like tie-dying so we will need the following -an indigo dye kit -natural fiber clothing or fabric(because its indigo, not bleach) -2 5 gallon buckets -rubber gloves -small wood squares -rubber bands -twine -a PVC pipe -rubber gloves
