The Kansas City Art Museum is a beautiful place to look at art from all different cultures. If you scroll through the pictures above, you can see that there are Hindu, Chinese, Egyptian, etc. As you scroll through the photos you will see a sculpture that looks like a wave. This is made out of beer bottle caps and I can assure you, it is larger than it appears to be in the photo. Unfortunately, the artist name is unavailable. Scrolling through you will see a Buddha statue. Buddha is the god in Buddhism. Buddhism is a religion that started in India and became popular in China. This statue is about 300 years old and is made out of gold. The sculptor not provided. The Nelson-Atkins Museum also commemorates the United States Civil War. In the backdrop, you will see tall pine trees all over. The picture depicts of the confederates, the south of America that succeeded from the union and was pro-slavery. This was a very rough time in U.S history and happily, the union, north of America and anti-slavery, won! These are some interesting painting in the museum. Some of the pictures have not been given any information. I have done that because I encourage you to go and see it. If you go, please comment information to us on the pictures shown above that had no information. We would like to see what you have learned.
