Edgar Degas created this masterpiece called The Dance Foyer at the Opera on the rue Le Peletier. Not only does this piece feature the famous ballerinas in many of Edgar Degas art it also shows the detail and talent by Edgar Degas. If you don't know who Edgar degas is you may be a little new to the historic art world. Edgar Degas has broadly affected the Impressionism by depicting moving scenes; even though, he denies the title. He has a hefty gallery and over half of his artwork is of ballet (or ballerinas) such as the Dance Foyer at the Opera on the rue Le Peletier. The Dance Foyer at the Opera on the rue Le Peletier is painted with oil paints on 32 × 46 cm canvas in 1872. The color palate is shades of natural colors such as white, brown, red. It carefully depicts the moving scene of the ballerinas stretching. Some details are so exquisite that you don't even notice them do you see the gold lining around the ceiling, carefully painted with detail. Did you notice the marble columns and how each color of paint is blended without ruining the piece? There are many things we know about this piece but there are still some secrets we don't know.
